Mao Feng green tea
The legendary Maofeng comes from the Chinese province of Anhui, which is known primarily for its green tea. Tea terraces cover the incredible slopes of the Huangshan Mountain Range - the famous "Yellow Mountains", one of the most beautiful places on the planet. High humidity and fresh coolness create ideal conditions for growing elite maofen tea, which is harvested in early spring before the rainy season. For this tea, only the kidneys and the adjacent two upper leaves of the same size, which are covered with delicate hair, are selected. They resemble cloud-covered peaks of majestic mountains, so maofen and got its name - "hairy peaks".
