🍔First, combine the slightly warm milk, salt, sugar, yeast and paprika in a bowl and mix well. Add the egg and mix again. Now add the flour and knead for 10 minutes until a dough forms.
🍔Flatten the dough and scatter the cold butter cubes over it. Knead to incorporate the butter - it will be difficult at first but the dough will soon become smooth. Knead for 10 more minutes.
🍔Form into a ball, cover and let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
🍔After rising, divide into 6 equal pieces on a lightly oiled surface. Form into bun shapes and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet to rise again, about 1 more hour.
🍔Brush the risen buns with the egg yolk/milk wash. Place a heatproof pan of boiling water on the bottom oven rack, then put the buns in the preheated 200°C oven. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove the water bath and bake 3-5 minutes more until done.
