Vanillin is natural, from vanilla pods and synthetic. To date, synthetic vanillin is made by synthesis from petrochemical raw materials.

We need:

  • Blue plums - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Carnation - 5 buds
  • Vanillin - on the tip of a knife

Preparation:

  1. First you need to select the plums. We leave good, hard plums. Soak for 20 minutes and wash well.
  2. We get stones from plums.
  3. Put our plums in a pan and cover with sugar. Add vanilla and cloves, put on fire.
  4. Make sure that the jam does not burn. Periodically remove the white foam from it.
  5. While the jam is cooking - sterilize the jars.
  6. After 1.5 hours, the jam should be ready. Transfer to jars and roll up!


Charlotte with apples and vanilla

The dish from our childhood is very simple and delicious. What do we need?

  • Apples - 1 kg
  • Eggs - 8 pieces
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Vanillin - 2 grams
  • Flour - 2 cups
  • Oil - for lubrication

Method of cooking:

  1. Mix sugar and eggs with a mixer until thick foam.
  2. Add flour and continue to mix.
  3. Peel an apple and grate it.
  4. Grease the form with oil and pour a little flour into it, distributing it on the walls and bottom.
  5. Spread some of the apples on the bottom, pour the dough and spread the remaining apples on top.
  6. Put in the oven at 180 degrees.
