Set of spices for hunting tincture, 54 g
To cook you will need:
- this set of spices
- 600 ml of 70% alcohol
- 30 ml of port
- 0.5 tsp fructose
- 850 ml of 40% alcohol
Ingredients: whole clove, ginger root, galangal root, angelica root, thistle, coffee beans, allspice, juniper berry, lemon peel, orange peel.
Preparation of the alcohol base:
Pour the spices from the mix into a jar.
Add 600 ml of 70% alcohol.
Infuse for 14 days in a dark place, shaking daily.
Strain through gauze and cotton wool.
Let the base settle for 1–2 days.
Preparation of the final drink:
Into a container, pour:
120 ml of the alcohol base,
850 ml of 40% alcohol,
0.5 tsp of fructose.
Stir well until fully dissolved.
Infuse for 14 days in a dark place.
Add 30 ml of port wine (not at the beginning).
Perform the final filtration through gauze and cotton wool.
Let the drink rest for 3–5 days — after that it is ready to consume.
