To cook you will need:
- this set of spices
- 2.5 liters of alcohol with a strength of at least 40%
- 350 ml of water
- 400 g of sugar
Ingredients: anise star, lemon peel, anise grain, fenhel seeds.
Preparation by infusion method:
- Pour water into a saucepan and add a set of spices
- Bring to a boil and add sugar
- Cook until the sugar dissolves, then keep on water for another 10-15 minutes
- Add alcohol to the resulting product
- Leave to infuse for 1-1.5 hours
- Strain through 3-4 layers of gauze
- Pour into a storage bottle
- Leave to infuse in a dark place for 10-14 days
- Before drinking, filter the drink with cotton wool
Preparation by distillation method:
- Pour spices into a jar and fill with alcohol (distillate)
- Close tightly with a lid and shake
- Leave in a dark, warm place for 5 days
- Filter through cotton wool
- Remove a third of the spices from the infusion
- Through the device we select 20-40 ml of heads on low heat
- We select approximately 2 liters of a drinking body with durability of 70 turns
- Prepare syrup from sugar and hot water (500 ml)
- Mix the syrup with the distillate and mix thoroughly.
- Pour into a storage bottle and leave to rest for about 3-4 weeks.
After that, the drink will be ready to drink.
