Green Jalapeño Ground Pepper
Ground green jalapeño is a versatile spice with a vibrant grassy aroma and a mild, pleasant heat. Made from dried green jalapeño chili pods, it retains the fresh, distinctive flavor note characteristic of this variety, unlike its red counterpart, which is sweeter and less spicy.
This spice is perfect for Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine: chili, tacos, burritos, nachos, guacamole. Add it to sauces, marinades, homemade ketchup or salsa, sprinkle it over pizza, burgers, or scrambled eggs for a fresh spicy kick. Ground jalapeño also pairs well with grilled meat, fish, and vegetables.
How to use: add to dishes during cooking or right before serving, to taste.
